Prof. Dr. P. G. Khandelwal is a senior pediatrician with more than 50 years of clinical experience in managing complex pediatric cases ranging from chronic recurring resporatory diseases like cold & cough, sneezing & wheezing, fever, loss of appetite, undefined weight loss, unresponsive routine line of treatments & neonatal diseases.
He started the Department of Pediatrics in Marwari Relief Society Hospital, Kolkata in 1973.
He was the chief investigator in multi centric study of efficiency of short term chemotherapy regimens in pulmonary tuberculosis in children from 1983 to 1988.
